The KDT-10 laboratory Short Path Distillation system is suitable for feed rates from 2.0 to 15.0 kg/hr. Evaporator pressures as low as 0.001 mbar can be reached and evaporator temperatures can be as high as 350ยฐC. The actual operating temperature associated with KDT-10 system is dependent upon the hot oil circulator supplied with the system.
SUPPORT SYSTEM
System is build around a 100″ W, 76″ H, 28″ D, 304 Stainless Steel Frame.
FEED VESSEL
The Feed Tank is comprised of a 25 L stainless steel feed tank, jacketed for heating with an ancillary circulation bath. Product is
pumped through the heated feed tank support plate via a metering gear pump into the evaporator.
KDT-10 “SHORT PATH EVAPORATOR
One (1) Short Path Evaporator fabricated from 316 Stainless Steel having a 0.10 m2 evaporator surface area, fully assembled
and jacketed for heating with hot oil circulation bath. Evaporator includes is a variable speed wiper basket drive gear motor with variable speed range
(60-500 rpm).
EVAPORATOR INTERNAL CONDENSER
The KDT-10 Short Path Evaporator lower section incorporates a 316 Stainless Steel Internal Condenser for cooling with ethylene glycol or other media utilizing an ancillary chiller/circulator (supplied by client or ordered as optional equipment).
Hot Oil Circulator – Feed Tank
One (1) Hot Oil Circulator supplied with Basic Distillation System for use with: Evaporator Main Body hot oil jacket.

Hot Oil Circulator – EVAPORATOR JACKET
One (1) Hot Oil Circulator supplied with Basic Distillation System for use with: Evaporator Main Body hot oil jacket.

Cooling Circulator – Condenser
One (1) Circulator supplied with Standard Distillation System for use with: Condensing coil and distillate arm.

One (1) Circulator supplied with Standard Distillation System for use with: Coiled Cold Trap Insert.
