Hamos KWS2522-2 Electrostatic Separator for Cable Recycling

Application: Cable recycling, Separation of metals inside plastic mixtures (e.g. leftover copper in shredded plastics)
The electrostatic separator is used in the final steps of the cable recycling
process, after a disnimetric separation, to recover the final 1-5% of metals
contained in the plastics mix. With an input throughput of 1.3 metric tons/hour (= 2,645 lbs/hour), this
translates to 22 metric tons of extra copper recovered each month.

System includes:
– Inlet silo (capacity 100 cubic feet)
– Bucket elevator and output transport screw
– Separation module with 4 rotating drums
– 3 Transport screws for 3 sorted output fractions: plastics, metals and mixed leftover.
– Dust exhaust system
